lego pip setting

I dont really like the artists sales pitch but I do think it is a charming ring link

way to expensive but has some of the things I like. using the natural action of the metal pitting from an acid bath as a place for setting stones is nice. link

minimal is

there is something attractive about this perfectly simple one. link

prototyped ring

this ring has all of the characteristics I was looking for. it is a very good example if not candidate for me. I like the raw material presentation, the prototyping, the geometric hex pattern that is derived from and disguises itself as a natural formation. link

meteorite and irregular setting

I think this one is very nice.
